The design is fun and imminently fair, and it only becomes better when we eventually get that rumored purple mana in Magic

The tapped entry is a serious downside here because mono-white decks usually play a low curve, and its a major hindrance if you fail to play a mana rock or a turn-1 creature beacuse this is your only white source

Getting seven cards deep in two turns with cycling and Glimmer of Genius is also pretty easy, and surviving with seven extra life isnt that big a deal

It can also protect its attackers with effects like Boros Charm, and on defense, cards like Teferi's Protection ensure the Kaalia player doesn't lose to a counterattack

But I do like the Grand Unifier and what It brings as a Commander
